Chap Goh Mei celebration

This is such a delayed entry. This gathering was organised by my dad's Old Boy's association on the last day of Chinese New Year, which is the Chap Goh Mei festival.

My first live Lion dance performance in Malaysia in ages! So funny how the lion looked at the poor old lady hungrily. Hehehehe.

I was just standing there taking photo and this Lion cam up so close to me!

All sorts of food was served that night, I liked the fried Nian Gau (Year cake), the sesame balls with red beans inside, and the Chao Kuay Teow (stir fried flat noodles). There were also many types of kuih to choose from!

Entertainment for the night was live performances of oldies which only my parents enjoyed. Hehehe.

Sushi overdose at Robot Sushi

Finally, my sushi cravings have been answered. There was a buy 1 free 1 sushi offer on Tuesdays at Robot Sushi on Tuesdays. We quickly headed over to one of its branches at 1Utama right after work.

With its ultra-modern layout, it somehow accurately depicts what Japan is all about - technology and its unique food.

Between the both of us, we ordered 6 plates of sushi all together. I wouldn't have ordered that much if it wasn't for the buy 1 free 1 offer. The sushi were delicious and the beautiful presentation was an added bonus.

All the different types of sushi. The ingredients were fresh and taste not bad. Was a bit disappointed with the cream cheese sushi but the rest were not bad. We liked Avatar the most. The ocha (green tea) was refillable. I liked how they served the wasabi paste in beautifully cut carrot flowers.

The meal came up to about RM30 each. It's really cheap considering the amount that we ordered. In the end, we even got vouchers of RM10 off for the next meal. Anyone care for more sushi on Tuesdays?

I really hate

patients who can be so selfish that not only they don't treasure their own life, they don't even care about the risks they bring to their loved ones. Go to hell!!!
